I made this DVD for young people ages 5 (with parental accompaniment) through 12. Fun!!! EASY!!!!! FUN!!!! EASY!!!!!
My goal with this DVD was to not only get kids off to a great start with the harmonica but to also use the harmonica as an entry point into the wonderful world of music. For me, because the harmonica was so easy to learn, it inspired me to become proficient with a variety of musical instruments (i.e. guitar, piano, drum kit, bass guitar, percussion, voice, song-writing). Running a Musical School and Summer Camps in Austin, Texas, I was able to inspire hundreds of kids to do the same.
This DVD offers an incredible fun and easy method designed specifically for kids that will get them up and playing in less than 15 minutes. They will learn “good habits” for proper harmonica techniques, how to play solo, to accompany other musicians, learn songs (i.e. Ode to Joy…), and develop the skill to play a variety of styles of music (classical, Chicago blues, spirituals, folk, pop, country…). They’ll love it!!!
